The senior year reinforces the same skills taught in the junior year, but does so with different scientific topics as the focus. Those topics include: environmental biotech, agricultural biotech, fermentation technologies, and bioinformatics. In addition, senior biotech students must also complete a Capstone Project. These projects are developed by the students and are defended at a competition in the spring of their senior year.
